Fast Track for Serving Constables National Assessment Centre

The Fast Track Programme is aimed at serving police constables with the potential to accelerate to the senior ranks of the police service, with the ambition, determination and innovation to lead change and make a positive impact on policing.

The application process for the Fast Track Programme normally opens in October each year and at that time details regarding the National Assessment Centre 2019 will be available but it usually takes place during March and April.

Assessment Process

Candidates will be required to arrive and register at 12 noon on the first day of their session and will be finished by 5.00pm on the second day. Overnight accommodation will be provided for candidates on the first evening of their intake only.

Documents for the 2018 assessment centre will remain on this page following the assessment centre for information and will be replaced by 2019 versions as they become available.

Candidates with disabilities or other requirements

If you have any individual circumstances that you believe may affect your performance or attendance at the selection process you should in the first instance refer to the Reasonable Adjustment and Accommodation Policy. This details the process by which candidates with a disability, including a Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD), or any other influencing factors may apply for a reasonable adjustment or an accommodation of their needs.
